How do I register?
You can register and make a secure online payment with your credit card by going to the registration page and completing the online registration form. You can also download and print a registration form and mail your payment along with the form to us. If it is a mail-in payment, we accept checks or cash only. Be sure to make the check out to Fitness for Function. Once we receive your form and payment, your spot will be reserved.
What if I sign up for a three-day plan and then want to do all 16 days of camp?
This actually happens often to campers quite often. They have so much fun, they realize that they want to do all the days! You will simply be prorated from the point you decide to join us for all the days.
What kind of people go to camp?
In many ways they are people just like you. Some just need to jump-start their fitness program; others have a fitness program but are tired of the same old routine and are looking for something fun and different. Many campers have some history of exercise, but both novice and veteran exercisers find our boot camp to be a challenging and fun workout experience. Furthermore, many campers choose to continue coming after their first session because of how much fun they have, the great results they get, and the ability to work out under professional guidance for such little cost.
Will I be sore after the workouts?
Most people feel some soreness for the first 2-3 days. After that point, it is slight to moderate. It's part of the process that lets you improve your health. Ask Kent how to eliminate or minimize soreness during camp!
Is there a refund policy?
If you are unable to attend camp due to circumstances out of your control, we can offer you a refund if you notify us prior to your session start date; however we will charge a $50.00 cancellation fee. If we are notified after your session begins, we can only give you credit towards another boot camp. This credit is nontransferable. There is no cash refund. This is not negotiable.
What is a typical day like at camp?
That's difficult to say since each day is intentionally different to alleviate boredom. You can expect some short distance running, functional weight training, obstacle courses, core training and joint mobility and stability work each week. On special days, you will be involved in fun group activities. Its always exciting and its always an adventure.
I'm not sure I can find time to make it to camp so early in the morning. Any advice?
You can give yourself 100 reasons why you can't make it to camp at 5:30. The reality is there are 1000 reasons why it absolutely can be done and why it will be the best thing you have ever done for your mental and physical health. Once you make your health and well being the first priority on your "to do list", everything else will fall into place.
How long will it take to see results?
Improved performance can occur in as little as three days. "Visual Improvement" can take from two to four weeks depending on your effort level and consistency. It is not uncommon for some campers to go down 1-2 dress sizes within the first camp. Remember, everyone responds to the program differently.
