How do I register?
You can register and make a secure online payment with your credit card by going to the registration page and completing the online registration form. You can also download and print a registration form and mail your payment along with the form to us. If it is a mail-in payment, we accept checks or cash only. Please make checks payable to Kent Morgan Strength and Conditioning, Inc. Once we receive your form and payment, your spot will be reserved.
What kind of people go to camp?
In many ways they are people just like you. Some just need to jump-start their fitness program; others have a fitness program but are tired of the same old routine and are looking for something fun and different. Many campers have some history of exercise, but both novice and veteran exercisers find our boot camp to be a challenging and fun workout experience. Furthermore, many campers choose to continue coming after their first session. Our return rate is around 90%!
Will I be sore after the workouts?
You will be sore but that is part of the process. Most people feel soreness for the first 2-3 days. After that point, it is slight to moderate. The massage techniques used during camp will help to keep it to a minimum.
Is there a refund policy?
If you are unable to attend camp due to circumstances out of your control, we can offer you a refund if you notify us prior to your session start date; however we will charge a $50.00 cancellation fee. If we are notified after your session begins, you can only get credit towards another boot camp. This credit is nontransferable.
What is a typical day like at camp?
A typical day is as follows:
5:30-5:35: Foam Rolling (Massage Technique to return your muscle tissue to normal length and increase blood flow to muscle tissue)
5:35 - 5:40: Stretching (Optimal results are obtained after foam rolling)
5:40 - 5:50: Movement Prep and Muscle Activation (Series of movements to get your body ready for what is to come and to work on joint mobility)
5:50 - 6:00: Short Conditioning Session or Metabolic Training
6:00 - 6:25: Metabolic Strength Training (Shown to be most effective way to increase strength and facilitate fat loss during and after the workout)
6:25 - 6:30: Cool down and announcements
I'm not sure I can find time to make it to camp so early in the morning. Any advice?
The following is from Mike Boyle's "Only one Body". He has put it better than I could have.
"Imagine you are sixteen years old and your parents give you your first car. They also give you simple instructions. There is one small hitch, you only get one car, you can never get another. Never. No trade-ins, no trade-ups. Nothing. Ask yourself how would you maintain that car?"
You can give yourself 100 reasons why you can't make it to camp at 5:30. The reality is there are 1000 reasons why it absolutely can be done and why it will be the best thing you have ever done for your mental and physical health. Once you make your health and well being the first priority on your "to do list", everything else will fall into place.
How long will it take to see results?
This depends on your consistency and work habits during the four-weeks of workouts. If you comply to the healthy nutrition habits I go through in the nutrition webinar and come and work hard everyday, you will start to see and feel the results in the first couple of weeks. Coach Morgan will provide the encouragement and accountability that you need.
